Phase 1: Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer
- "AI in Pedagogy" Certification Program: A tiered training module developed by UTM for Johor teachers (via JPNJ) focusing on AI literacy, prompt engineering for educators, and data privacy.
- Ethical AI Integration Roadshows: Collaborative seminars led by UTM researchers at JPNJ district offices to sensitize school leaders on the MOE (Ministry of Education) guidelines regarding AI use in classrooms.
- Pedagogical Coaching Clinics: One-on-one or small group mentoring sessions where UTM academic staff help Hidayah Private School teachers redesign traditional lesson plans into "AI-enhanced" modules
Phase 2: Collaborative Development & Resource Creation
- EduPEAK Digital Resource Hub: Creation of a localized repository of teaching materials (lesson plans, rubrics, and slide decks) that utilize AI tools specifically for the Malaysian National Curriculum (KSSM/KSSR).
- Co-Teaching Pilot Projects: UTM post-graduate students and Hidayah Private School teachers partner to deliver "Open Classrooms" that demonstrate how AI can be used for personalized learning and differentiated instruction.
- The "AI-Safe" School Toolkit: Development of a practical guidebook for Malaysian schools on how to prevent AI plagiarism, foster critical thinking, and ensure student well-being in a digital environment.
Phase 3: Research, Policy & Sustainability
- MRUN Collaborative Research Symposium: A national event where findings from the EduPEAK project are presented to the Ministry of Higher Education, showcasing the impact of the UTM-Hidayah-JPNJ model.
- Impact Assessment & Data Analytics: UTM leads a study on how AI integration affects teacher workload and student engagement within Hidayah Private School, providing data-driven recommendations to JPNJ.
- Future-Ready Educator Awards: A recognition program by JPNJ and UTM to reward teachers who demonstrate the most innovative and ethical uses of AI in their teaching practice.
